primroses in the snow
and I am married
again
 
 雪の中のサクラソウ
そして私は結婚している
また

full moon
a stranger at the crossroads
also wants to smoke

満月
岐路に立つ見知らぬ人
また喫煙したい 
winter sun
slowly dissolving
aspirin tablet

冬の太陽
ゆっくり溶かす
アスピリン錠を

a storm in distance
a seagull touching
the stagnant water

遠くの嵐
カモメが触れる
停滞した水に 
 
sunday morning
the shadow on the wall stretched
 and lay down again

日曜日の朝
壁の影が伸びた
そして再び横になった 
 
the swifts have arrived -
this day is in her diary
with no comment
 
 アマツバメが到着
この日は彼女の日記に
コメントなし 
 
a big snowfall
the irregularities on my father's grave
leveled off

大雪
父の墓の凹凸

  1. My favorites are “autumn leaves…” and “leaf fall” haiku. The first one also made me look up the “set theory” 🙂 The definition among other things talked about “branches of mathematics” — took me right back to tree branches, and autumn leaves.
