World Haiku Series 2021 (38) Haiku by Nani Mariani

morning and morning
barefoot
gravel

裸足
砂利

Moonlight
a piece of poetry
hang pen

the wind blows
loneliness in winter
natural fragrance

in winter
old beggar blows the flute
my handkerchief is wet

on the way
I talk to me
heaven or hell

a son
reminds me of the past
beer

old house
noise
Swift's nest

leaves in the pond
add silence
nothing lasts forever

sunlight
light up the room
window never opens

crow and me
friends without words
the sun shines

Profile:

Nani Mariani, Indonesia - domiciled in Australia.
It's nice to still be given time to scavenge words and try to put them together. I write as happiness for the soul and can avoid senile, light therapy for the brain
I began to write haiku since joining the New Haiku Indonesia group in 2013. One of the trainers in the group is our friend, the late Mr. Beni Guntarman. He is very firm in developing members.
I was attracted to Haiku because it is short and concise to convey what is in the heart: what is seen, felt, and heard.

  1. Dear Sasha A. Palmer,
    Honesty is above all…
I am very happy to read your comments. I’m not a poet, I just write to pass the time.
Thank you very much for your kind attention and time ❤️❤️
    Blessing,
    Nani

  2. I like your 4th poem ‘ in winter …’ You have taken a good attempt to maintain the brevity. How nice your photo of the crow / Well done.
