a softener awakens

BIO SKETCH

Samo Kreutz (1975 -) lives in Ljubljana, Slovenia. 
Besides haiku (which he has been writing since 2011), he writes novels, short stories, and poetry. 
Up till now he has published ten books in Slovene (three of them were haiku books) and one in English (a haiku collection titled The Stars for Tonight, which is still available at Amazon). 
His recent work has appeared on international websites (and journals) such as Wales Haiku Journal, Under the Basho, Tsuri-Dōrō: A Small Journal of Haiku and Senryu, Poetry Pea, Jalmurra: Art & Poetry Journal, Ink Sweat & Tears: The poetry and prose webzine, Haiku Commentary, Frameless Sky: Art Video Journal,  Autumn Moon Haiku Journal, Asahi Haikuist Network, Akitsu Quarterly, Akita International Haiku Network, and others.

  1. Thank you for the read! Particularly enjoyed “narrow street.” Maybe “enjoyed” is not the word, because I actually felt claustrophobic reading this haiku (though hoping to follow “the bell’s echo” and get some air!)
