MIRELA BRĂILEAN lives in Iasi, Romania. She is an expert in the preservation of cultural heritage. She discovered poems of Japanese inspiration a few years ago. Her Japanese short-form poetry is published in numerous haiku journals, several online magazines, and books. She was selected to the European Top 100 most creative haiku authors in and 2020.
