autumn wind–
it was never love
in the first place

秋の風
それは決して愛ではなかった
そもそも

first crocus
i fall in love 
yet again

最初のクロッカス
私は恋に落ちる
再び

first hearing
still he gets
a calla lily bouquet 

最初のヒアリング
それでも彼は得る
カラのブーケを

whale songs
how I miss the time
we conversed

クジラの歌
会話した時間を
いかになつかしく思うか

paper cut–
the pain of writing
to you again

紙切れ
書くことの苦痛
もう一度あなたに

night cicadas
the only company i have
on lonely nights

夜の蝉
私の唯一の仲間
孤独な夜に

long winter
we sun the memories
from last year

長い冬
私たちは思い出の日光浴をする
昨年から

Wood smoke-
the past she wanted
to forget

木材の燃焼煙
彼女が忘れたかった
過去

holy dip
we carry back
a bit of the Ganges

聖なるディップ
持ち帰ります
ガンジス川を少し

love letter
the things she
wanted to say

ラブレター
彼女言いたかったこと

My bio:


Mona Bedi is a medical doctor in Delhi, India. 
She has been writing poetry since childhood but a few years back she started writing the Japanese form.. haiku. 
She has two poetry books published by the name of “they you and me” and “dancing moonlight”.
She lives with her husband, two children and a dog.
Her haiku and senryu have been published in Failed haiku, Haiku in Action, The Haiku dialogue, cold moon journal, tsuri-doro and many others.
