Haiga by Christina Chin
of dew from the canopy
the drunken sailor
in full bloom
deep and seductive
the tantalising fragrance
of Don Juan
on the ivory silk
raising the silk portière
in the quiet evening sea
thoughts in rosebud tea
a catfish ripples
the summer moon
― Translated by Hidenori Hiruta
