Haiku by 5-year-old Children (14)

Himawari Class (Sunflower Class) at Aishin Kodomoen (Aishin Preschool)

in Shirataka Town, Yamagata Prefecture, Japan

おちばはねカナダのマークしてたんだ　　梅津友絆 Yuri Umetsu

The fallen leaves have the same shape as the Canadian flag!

うちあげはなびたかくなってどんどんと　  我妻魁星  Kaisei Wagatsuma

Fireworks are getting higher and higher

ひっぱったふたりでしりもちおいもほり　　  渋谷咲莉月  Erena Shibuya

When we pulled the vine together while digging sweet potatoes, the bottom got stuck.

おいこしていちいになったうんどうかい　  　小関悠悟  Yugo Koseki

I overtook my friends at the athletic meet and came in first

よっこいしょつるをひっぱりおしりつく　　　志水瑠夏 Ruka Simizu

Ooof!, when I pulled the vine, I landed on my butt

I wiped the fluff off and got bored

Blue light that shines on the buttocks where fireflies fly

At the athletic meet, dragonflies are also cheering in the autumn sky
