On December 20, 2011, Patricia Lidia inRomania, kindly presented a haiku calendar to us.
The haiku calendar was made by Ioana Dinescu and Constanta Erca in Romania.
Here is a photo of the month February.
It’s snowing again
the cherry trees are blooming
on my kimono Bea Hurmuz
Ioana Dinescuhas contributed her photo haiku to us.
Please enjoy her photo haiku with my Japanese translations.
You can enjoy them in her blog too.

power outage –
world`s rebirth
in candlelight
tender sun –
the carpet’s flowers
stretch towards it
after the rain –
the lilac fragrance
covers the moon
snow gathers
in the flower’s shadow
fragrance of spring
full moon –
the sky’s velvet torn
in the middle
sand and waves –
a shell still seeking
for its pair
scattered leaves –
the old ballerina
takes her cane
sinking to the depths
a branch still tries to reach
the skies
into the distance –
long looking after the one
with broken wing
between the Tropics
and the North Pole just
a thin glass
broken glasses –
a new world out of
sound and smoke
wind chimes –
a butterfly entangled
between the notes
