山村
教会より少し高い墓地
spring rain
out of itself
a garden snail
春の雨
その中から
庭のカタツムリ
winter evening
the empty spaces
in a jigsaw puzzle
冬の夕暮れ
空のスペース
ジグソーパズルで
kite
not enough rope
to reach the clouds
凧
雲に達するにはロープが足りない
from stars in the sea
to stars in the sky
a stone stairway
海の星から
空の星へ
石の階段
first snow
the short stalk
of a cut rose
初雪
切りバラの短い茎
morning prayer
on the monk’s sandals
sparkles of dew
朝の祈り
僧侶のサンダルに
露のきらめき
creak of a gate
an old turtle retires
into itself
ゲートのきしる音
古いカメが引退する
それ自体に

the little girls argue over
where the heart is

Bio:
Nikolay Grankin lives in Krasnodar in the south of Russia.
He has a wife, two children, a grandson, and works as an electrician in the plant.
Nikolay has been writing haiku for about ten years, two of them in English. His haiku have appeared in some online and print journals in both Russian and English.
