World Haiku Series 2019 (195)

Haiku by Vladimir Monakhov

On my wife’s shelf
Yesterday I saw for the first time
A lifting cream tube.

My daughter
Forgot her mittens on the bench …
Children precipitate spring!

To the sun over the river
Call they from the meadow.
Prisoners of grass.

Right to the road
A mushroom came to look at the people.
Oh, this nasty dust!

Digging a grave.
Oh, something pricked me in the belly.
The call of the earth!

The night sky
So abundant with stars.
To the top of the garden.

An autumn leave
In the hands of a merry girl
Kept living and living and living…

In the vessels
Where fish used to play
In the morning splashes the fish of silence.

In the forlorn garden
Thoughts of the grass
Are smashed by heavy apples.

Under the traffic light
In the first winter puddle
There is still a lot of green.
