wandering in the fields
but nowhere able to find
hat of a scarecrow

野原をさまよう
しかし、どこにも見つけることができない
案山子の帽子

basket full of cherries
between the leaves there is
a bee hiding

さくらんぼでいっぱいのかご
葉の間にいる
隠れている蜂

someone greeted me
no way I could remember
who that person was

誰かが私に挨拶した
思い出せない
その人は誰だったか

I have found a hat
not good for me - nor the scarecrow
what to do with it?

帽子を見つけた
私には良くない、案山子にも
どうしよう?

on the sidewalk				
lunch of a beggar - bread
and a tomato

歩道で
乞食の昼食 ― パン
そしてトマト

together with me
the wind is a passer-by
reading the newspapers 

私と一緒に
風が通りすぎる
新聞を読む

we are drinking wine
what is each other thinking
no one really knows

私たちはワインを飲んでいる
お互いに何を考えているのか
誰にも本当に分からない

dilapidated house
an old helpless woman
with her sorrow 

老朽化した家
無力な老女
彼女の悲しみとともに

with the blowing wind
big heavy raindrops arrived
and the first tree leaves

風が吹き
大きな重い雨滴が到着
そして最初の木の葉

we are munching popcorns
all over the big screen
the river is flowing

私たちはポップコーンをむしゃむしゃ食べている
大画面中に
川が流れている

Bio:

Ljubinka Tošić was born in 1956 in the village of Rujevac near Uzice, Serbia.
She writes poetry and prose and has published several collections of poems, including haiku and poetry for children.
Her poems are included in several collections and anthologies of haiku and contemporary poetry. For a while, she edited the haiku poetry magazine "Violet".
Her poems have been translated into Russian, English, Czech, Slovenian, Slovak, Japanese, German and French.
So far she has received a number of literary awards and recognitions worldwide, as well as in her home country.
