World Haiku Series 2022 (3) Haiku by Alenka Zorman (Slovenia)

1

Entry to the city park.

The scents settle in me

before the flowers.

2

The shape of an anvil.

Is that cloud bringing

hail into May night?

3

Crane builds a house.

A pair of swans nests

in the nearby reeds.

4

Sleeping lamp.

On the nearby vinegar tree

lights for both.

5

Expensive sea suite.

All inclusive for a spider

on the balcony.

6

Heat wave.

I love the sun most

when it says goodbye.

7

Storm forecast.

The screaming of crows

announces it earlier.

8

Along the way

to the biotechnical faculty

ripe rosehips.

9

Remembrance day of the dead.

Winds have not yet blown away

all the dandelion clocks.

10

Bird migration time.

Only metal cranes jut

into the sky.
