Bio:

Đurđa (Djurdja) Vukelić Rožić (Croatia, 1956) is a writer and translator, lives in Ivanić-Grad, Croatia.

She published 21 books of her own; prose and poetry in Croatian and the Kajkavian Dialect, seven of them short Japanese poetry forms.

She is a principal editor of haiku magazine IRIS and has edited several anthologies of haiku.

For her haiku and senryu she received a number of awards in Croatia and abroad.
