wandering thoughts –
sound of the rain entering
the dawn
さまよう考え-
雨の音が入る
夜明け
glow of azure sky
radiance of sun shining –
a new day unfurls
青空の輝き
輝く太陽の光輝-
新しい一日が開ける
aged mango tree –
even thinking about it
i feel dwarfed
熟成したマンゴーの木-
それについて考えることさえ
私は小さくさせられた気持ち
clear air of morning
holds a streak of pink clouds –
sensing a haiku
朝の澄んだ空気
ピンクの雲の連なりを保持-
俳句を感じる
deep in thought –
the coo of pigeons draws
dawn light in
深く思考-
ハトの鳴き声
夜明けの光りを引き寄せる
ask the butterfly
why skip this flower
under azure sky
蝶に聞いてください
なぜこの花をスキップするの
青空の下で
wishes
blown on the wind
dandelions
願い
風に吹かれている
たんぽぽ
day napping –
a noisy outburst of rain
steals time to dream
昼寝-
どっと降り出す雨の騒々しい音
夢の時間を盗む
under scarecrow’s hat
his face with a stitched smile –
corn fields
案山子の帽子の下
刺繍された笑みの顔-
トウモロコシ畑
raking leaves –
a tropical mockingbird
skips and fans her tail
かき集められた葉-
熱帯のマネシツグミ
尾を跳ばしてあおぐ

I live in St James, Trinidad (Republic of Trinidad and Tobago)
I am a retired Library Assistant. Married, I am a mother and grandmother.
I write as a hobby and have published 7 books between 2007 and 2019. Five of these books are stories written for children.
All my published books contain haiku poems.
