silvered arms of trees
and Chopin’s nocturne
夜のドライブ…
木々の銀色の大枝
そしてショパンの夜想曲
musing . . .
a cry from the riverside
tears the fog
黙想…
川辺からの叫び
霧を引き裂く
chirps everywhere
a street musician lays aside
his violin
いたるところで囀り
ストリートミュージシャンが脇に置く
バイオリンを
rainy season
in the bride’s bouquet
a seed sprouts
梅雨
花嫁のブーケに
種が芽をふく
gnarled fingers
on yellowed keys
autumn twilight
節くれだった指
黄ばんだ鍵
秋の夕暮れ
hometown
a glass skyscraper mirrors
the old sakura
故郷
ガラスの超高層ビルが映し出す
古木のさくらを
migratory birds
key to the summer cottage
under the doormat
渡り鳥
夏の別荘の鍵
玄関マットの下
ice-locked lake
countless footprints
to nowhere
氷に閉ざされた湖
無数の足跡
どこかに行くわけではない
swift nightfall
moving to the roost sites
urban birds
たちまちに日暮れ
ねぐらのサイトに移動する
都会の鳥
cutting reeds
piece by piece
the backwater turns blue
葦を切る
少しずつ
よどみが青くなる

Bio:
Marta Chocilowska lives in Warsaw, Poland.
She is cats’ lover, cyclist, co-author of domestic and foreign haiku anthologies, winner and judge of several haiku contests.
She has publications in international haiga and haiku journals, both printed and on line.
Her haiku were translated into Bulgarian, Chinese, Croatian, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese and Russian.
Author of “Seasons in Polish kigo”; President of the Polish Haiku Association and The Haiku Foundation’s Haiku Registry manager (2018); the managing co-editor of the PHA’s Almanac “Migratory Birds”.
