moonbeams...
a cosmic dance
on gourds

月光
宇宙のダンス
ひょうたんに

a moment
becomes a lifetime—
fireflies

瞬間
一生になる
ホタル

in the mist
a tiny hummingbird
seen unseen

霧の中で
小さなハチドリ
見えない

twilight sky
a white camellia plops
gentle rain

薄明の空
白い椿の群れ
穏やかな雨 

fluffing 
drops of sunlight—
a sparrow

ふわふわ
日光の滴
スズメ

summer grass
in the birdbath
a baby snail

夏草
バードバスで
カタツムリの赤ちゃん

daffodils—
grandson plants 
gentle smiles

水仙
孫の植物
優しい笑顔

scented
orange blossoms—
the old dog rests

香り
オレンジの花
老犬が休む

Buddha—
a lotus flower
in every chant

仏陀
蓮の花
すべての聖歌に

Brief Bio:
Neena Singh runs a non-profit working for quality interventions in health and education of economically underprivileged children in Chandigarh, India. After three decades of contributing to the banking industry, Neena devotes her time to social work and penning poetry. 
Her haiku/tanka/haibun have found a place in online journals and magazines viz. Asahi Haikuist Network, The Haiku Foundation's blog Troutswirl, Haikuniverse, Miriam's Well, Akita International Haiku Network, Asahi Shimbun, Frogpond, Chrysanthemum, Presence, Poetry Pea, Wales Haiku Journal and Under the Basho.

She is the author of "Whispers of the Soul—The Journey Within" a book of poetry showcasing her passion for nature and "One Breath Poetry—a journal of haiku, senryu & tanka".

  4. Congratulation, Neena.Very good haiku with vividness. There has been a freshness in portraying the imageries. ‘in the mist’ is an interesting display in its simplicity: line 2 can be associated with both line 1 and line 3. Interestingly you have not used ellipses or em dash. ‘seen unseen’ is an expression of inter-disjunction within line 3 and the musically it resonates. Brilliant photographs.
    Let us express our gratitude to Hiruta san for his incessant endeavour for the cause of Haikai literature.
