Brief Bio: Neena Singh runs a non-profit working for quality interventions in health and education of economically underprivileged children in Chandigarh, India. After three decades of contributing to the banking industry, Neena devotes her time to social work and penning poetry. Her haiku/tanka/haibun have found a place in online journals and magazines viz. Asahi Haikuist Network, The Haiku Foundation's blog Troutswirl, Haikuniverse, Miriam's Well, Akita International Haiku Network, Asahi Shimbun, Frogpond, Chrysanthemum, Presence, Poetry Pea, Wales Haiku Journal and Under the Basho. Congratulation, Neena.Very good haiku with vividness. There has been a freshness in portraying the imageries. ‘in the mist’ is an interesting display in its simplicity: line 2 can be associated with both line 1 and line 3. Interestingly you have not used ellipses or em dash. ‘seen unseen’ is an expression of inter-disjunction within line 3 and the musically it resonates. Brilliant photographs.
