cemetery
at the entrance a birch swings
new lives
お墓
入り口で樺の木が動かす
新しい命を
sharpness of the plow
a homeless ant runs
over fresh soil
鋤の切れ味
ホームレスの蟻が走る
新鮮な土壌の上を
honey wheat ears
swinging behind
the curtain of houses
黄褐色の小麦の穂
揺れている
家のカーテンの背後で
forest cart track
the sun sucks from puddles
its own image
森のカートトラック
太陽が水たまりから吸います
自らの画像を
ruby-like flame
of an autumn treetop
extinguishes in the grass
秋の梢のルビーのような炎
草の中に消える
autumn evening
storm edges the corners
of old cart yards
秋の夕方
嵐が古いカートヤードの角を仕切る
gnarled willow
wind weaves its branches
in a flexible basket
節くれだった柳
風が枝を織り込む
しなやかなバスケットに
white crystals
saber blades of grass
peer into the sun
白い結晶
草のサーベルのような葉が
太陽に目をこらす
street lamps
touching the evening
with foggy half-light
街灯
夕方に触れる
霧の半分の光で
October storm
old shutters are knocking
on the night door
10月の嵐

Bio:
Ivanka Kostantino (1952 -), a retired worker in a textile factory, is living in the village Smihel – Nova Gorica in the SW part of Slovenia.
She has been writing haiku for ten years.
Her haiku were awarded in Slovenia and other republics of the former Yugoslavia.
She has published one haiku book.
